JULY 2013

While we battle the cold weather this winter, we are pleased to say that things have been heating up at Keito Events! We have had one our busiest months, staging a broad range of events from Government events to fundraising lunches and product launches.

One of our recent achievements was producing the launch of a mine in Mindarie, 2.5 hours from Adelaide, involving the Premier and over 30 guests from China – we hope you enjoy the photos and case study from this event.

Next month sees us heading to the annual event management conference in Sydney – a sure way to refresh our perspective and top us up with new ideas and ways of approaching our clients’ events.

With the number of events we are working on, it is clear to see that events are maintaining their value as a powerful marketing tool to engage audiences, raise funds, achieve awareness and interact with people in a way that will leave a lasting impression.

Until our next newsletter, stay warm and enjoy the read.

Cheers

  Kate Abraham

Adelaide’s Great Park Open Day

On Sunday 30 June, Renewal SA held a community open day at the Convention Centre to share the initial plans for ‘Adelaide’s Great Park’. Keito Events was engaged to stage multiple activities to complement the development plans, such as a picnic area, wine tastings, mini golf, fitness tests, children’s activities, roving entertainment and some football drills with the Adelaide Crows. It was a very successful event with the main highlight being the photo opportunity on the Adelaide Gondola, in the ACC foyer.

Peel Street After Dark Forum

In June, Keito Events was engaged by the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure to organise and manage the After Dark Forum, to be held as part of the Peel Street Festival. Keito Events converted an empty building which was undergoing renovations until the morning of the event, into a warm and inviting space. The Peel Street laneway was also activated with interactive projections, roving performers and a ‘live’ graffiti artist. The event had a great outcome and was attended by The Hon. John Rau MP and 70 registrants who participated in the discussion forum.

Murray Zircon Mineral Sands Project Launch

In May this year, Keito Events managed the Official Launch of Murray Zircon’s Mineral Sands Project in the rural town of Mindarie, South Australia. The VIP lunch for 200 people included  guests such as the Premier of South Australia, The Hon. Jay Weatherill MP and the Minister for Transport and Infrastructure, The Hon. Tom Koustantonis MP. Over 30 delegates also flew in from China to attend this important occasion.

Carlton & United Breweries Client Event

Carlton & United Breweries engaged Keito Events to help deliver a successful Carlton Draught Launch of the 2013 AFL Program. This cocktail event involved a turfed handball competition area, a superbox competition drawn via a ‘lucky lock and key’ concept, the Carlton Draught foosball table and the Adelaide Crows and Port Power player ambassadors.
