Business SA 175th Gala Celebration
On Friday 29th August Business SA celebrated a significant milestone of 175 years of business and industry in South Australia. Keito Events was engaged to assist Business SA in the event concept and project planning as well as the implementation and delivery of the celebratory event.
The event was held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre with more than 850 guests in attendance. On arrival in the orb guests experienced pre-drinks amongst an 1830’s themed set with enthusiastic paper boys handing out the event program which was a newspaper, a shoe shine boy offering a quick polish before guests moved into the main arena. The Bank SA brigade helped guests find their tables and informed guests of the event smartphone App. Grand impressions continued to be delivered to guests with an impactful opening, creative vision packages, members names represented across the tables centrepieces, a sand artist and inspiring speeches. The entertainment by South Australian groups, Germein Sisters and Lucky Seven Swing were thoroughly enjoyed.
Lastly, a cellar door opened at the end of the evening offering a range of dessert beverages, cheeses and chocolates all South Australian companies, was certainly on demand and kept the networking going! This event was a ‘night of nights’ and a great experience for all.

Frome Street Bikeway Launch
Keito Events managed the Frome Street Bikeway Launch for the Adelaide City Council with only a week turnaround. The event was a “breakfast trail”, with four stations located along the Frome Street Bikeway between Greenhill Road and Pirie Street. Cyclists riding along the bike path collected different breakfast items and information regarding the new bikeway from each station.
Keito was involved in the organisation of the stations, the breakfast items and signage and also coordinated the early morning event, including set up and pack down. The launch ran smoothly with close to a thousand cyclists attending on the day. Everyone’s expectations were greatly exceeded and the launch was a huge success.

Devine Homes Super Size Me Family Day
We were engaged by Devine to manage a family day at their new house and land development in Evanston Gardens. Working with Mix 102.3 we created a day filled with activities ranging from giant games, bouncy castles, face painting, colouring-in stations and caricature drawings. Super heroes were on hand to provide information about Devine’s SUPERSIZE ME campaign. The free sausage sizzle worked a treat on a cold winter’s day.

Keito events worked with Devine Homes to provide their customer base with opportunities to learn more about the current housing market. Keito managed 3 events throughout the month of May focusing on different target audiences. Adelaide Oval played host to an Investment Seminar where potential investors could learn more about what Devine has on offer. The City Of Playford provided a space for potential First Home Buyers to hear from mortgage advisors and house & land consultants. We also managed an event in Port Augusta which enabled the community to learn about the new estate under construction, Flinders Place.

Tasting Australia Sweet Streets
As part of the Tasting Australia Festival in May this year, Keito Events worked with DPTI and Tasting Australia to put on a dessert and cocktail event in Leigh St and Peel St. Keito Events worked closely with the clients to develop the event concept, which needed to be in line with the overarching brand concept of Tasting Australia.
Given that this was a satellite Tasting Australia event, involvement of local and external food and beverage traders, as well as the look and feel of the event, were key. Peel St was themed as “the dark side”, whilst Leigh St was themed “the light side”, with Keito Events working with suppliers and traders to reflect this in the street decorations and trader dessert and cocktail offerings.
As well as working on the event concept, liaising with traders, and on the day management, Keito Events directed the logistical aspects of the event including road closures, cleaning of the street after the event and cold and wet weather contingency plans.
