Oakden Rise Stage 2 Release Community Day 2023

On Saturday 25th February the Oakden Rise development hosted a community day for families and local community members to attend, with the idea for attendees to gain a better understanding of the development.

The day was a huge success, fulfilled by the Keito Events Team and a number of suppliers. The outdoor event featured an afternoon of a delicious BBQ lunch, acoustic performance by Tom n Rose Music, face painting, gelato cart, and numerous smiling faces were captured using the Hashtag Instaprint – what a wonderful day! We enjoyed working with Villawood Properties and our amazing suppliers, a big shoutout for their hard work!

The recent State/Local Government Economic Partnerships Forum held on Friday, 24 March 2023, was an important event for this, my second term as Minister for Local Government. 

I wanted to begin a conversation with the local government sector that was respectful of the role councils play in the lives of their communities, and encouraging of the greater role they can play in partnering with—and participating in—the State Government’s economic growth agenda for South Australia. 

An undertaking like the Forum takes many hands and a considerable effort to organise. I have been advised that the team from Keito did a terrific job in providing support and helping to make the event as successful as it demonstrably was.

Jade and I worked together last week in Fiji for the Coloplast National Sales Meeting, as well as spending months of hard work preparing for this Meeting.  76 Coloplast staff (Australia and New Zealand) attended in Fiji. 

Jade is truly amazing.  I found Jade very professional, and she is so friendly and easy to work with.  Jade takes pride in her work, and it shone throughout the work preparations and at the National Meeting. 

There were some last-minute hiccups during last week, which was out of our control.  Jade took it in her stride and solved these issues in a professional and calming manner. 

I could not have asked for a better person to work with last week.  Last week I liaised with Jade as she did all the schedule planning. The National Sales Meeting was a huge success.
